Nantou Zhushan | "Zi Nan Temple: Light a stick of incense to show your appreciation for your blessings, and find peace of mind when borrowing money to fulfill your vows"

Zi Nan Temple, located in Zhushan, Nantou, is one of Taiwan's most popular Tudigong temples. Its principal deity, Fude Zhengshen, is best known for his role in governing wealth and fortune. Many believers come specifically to "borrow money for prosperity" and pray for career success and abundant financial resources.

The square in front of the temple is bustling with pilgrims. Some offer offerings, others bow sincerely, and others come specifically to fulfill vows. The curling incense smoke, a mingling of prayers and gratitude, creates a sense of the Tudigong's benevolent yet solemn atmosphere.

I burn incense in front of the incense burner, bow silently, and pray in my heart:
"May your journey be unimpeded, may your family be safe, and may all be at peace."

The Tudigong statue bears a benevolent expression, as if listening to the hearts of each believer.
