📍 Todai-ji Temple Review
This was the most impressive place during my Nara trip. The sheer scale of the temple was truly overwhelming as soon as I entered. As I walked along the path, I saw deer roaming freely, which immediately brought home the peaceful atmosphere of Nara. 🦌 They weren't afraid of people at all, so it was cute how they would approach and ask for snacks.
Inside the main hall is the Daibutsu (Great Buddha), one of the largest statues of Buddha in Japan. Seeing it in person is truly breathtaking. Not only was the statue impressive, but the intricate carvings and the balance of the structure were truly breathtaking. 🙏 The quiet and calm atmosphere inside naturally brought a sense of peace and tranquility.
The grounds are spacious, making for a leisurely stroll, and there are plenty of photo opportunities. 📸 There's an entrance fee, but it's well-maintained, making it well worth it. The path from Todaiji Temple to Nara Park was also beautiful, making it a perfect day trip.🌿
