Shikoku Naruto | Experience the whirlpools at Naruto Park!

Naruto Uzumaki from Naruto is named after this place! Naruto Park is part of Setonaikai National Park and has beautiful beaches and forest scenery. The best time to see the whirlpools is updated daily at the ticket office or on the official website, so be sure to check.

If you are driving, parking lot 1 is JPY 500 per car, and there is a souvenir shop after parking.

There are several ways to see the whirlpools:
1️⃣ Take a sightseeing boat
Search for "Naruto Kanko Kisen (Uzushio Kanchosen)." There are large and small boats, with the large boat offering a distant view and the small boat offering a close-up view. Check the schedule for details.
Whether you can take the boat depends on your luck. If it is very windy that day, the boat will likely be canceled, but don't be discouraged. You can try the second method.
2️⃣ See it from Uzu no Michi
Uzu no Michi is located on the Onaruto Bridge. Tickets are JPY 510 for adults, and you will also receive an introduction and a postcard. You can get a stamp at the ticket office.
This is a sea walkway built on the Onaruto Bridge. The Seto Inland Sea is on the left side of the walkway, and the Pacific Ocean is on the right. The difference in water levels creates the Naruto whirlpools, one of the world's three major whirlpools.
There are also 8 transparent glass floors on the walkway, through which you can overlook the sea. There are also restrooms and seats. Be sure to dress warmly, as it is very cold.
3️⃣ See it from Senjojiki
Senjojiki is a place where you can see the whirlpools, the bridge, and the boat from a distance. If the weather is good, you can see the whirlpools clearly.
4️⃣ Naruto Park Observatory
Walk up a little to the top of the mountain to see the whirlpools and the bridge, but it is very windy!

There are also several other places to visit in Naruto Park:
1️⃣ Sonki Lighthouse
See the boats passing under the bridge up close, and you can also see a little of the whirlpools.
2️⃣ Aigahama
A beach close to the bridge. You can't go into the water, as it is all rocks.
3️⃣ Shikoku no Michi Trailhead
A leisure trail. It takes about an hour to walk around.
4️⃣ Onaruto Bridge Memorial Museum
JPY 620 for adults. Learn about the Onaruto Bridge through VR and other technologies. Suitable for families.
