Getting There - Shifen Old Street is approximately 40 minutes drive or 1.5 hours train ride to Shifen station from Taipei Main Station. It is one of the must visit places when visiting Taipei!

Attractions - This is a well-known scenic spot with railway tracks that run through this old street lined with shops, restaurants and sky lantern shops. It is said that if you write your wishes on and release the sky lantern, your dreams will come true.

Shopping - There are many shops selling souvenirs along the street. I particular like the miniature sky lantern handphone charm/keychain.
