This small village nestled in a valley formerly served as a coal mine. It's a must-visit spot because of the adorable cats.
Some of the cats may be a little indifferent to us, just like their owners, but overall, they're still just as adorable.

😻 After exiting the platform, walk through the skywalk and cross to the village across from the train station. There are plenty of cats, as well as souvenir shops and cat food.

Take the TRA train from Taipei Station, bound for Su Ao, and get off at Houtong Station. You'll find it right out of the station. Or, you can cross the skywalk to the other side.
