Our visit to Yehliu Geopark was nothing short of magical. As we walked through the coastal rock formations sculpted by wind and sea, it honestly felt like we had stepped onto another planet. Nature’s artwork was on full display here—with towering stone shapes that resembled mushrooms, candles, queens, and even fairy slippers.
The highlight, of course, was the iconic “Queen’s Head” rock, though we had to queue a little for a photo. Still, it was worth the wait. There’s something peaceful and almost spiritual about standing at the edge of the sea surrounded by thousands of years of geological wonder.
Walking paths were well marked, and there were plenty of spots to take in the views (and catch your breath). Wear comfortable shoes because the terrain can be uneven.
Definitely one of the most memorable natural attractions in Taiwan—it’s no wonder it’s so popular!
