If you're visiting Taipei and looking for a relaxing break from the hustle and bustle, I highly recommend Tamsui (淡水). 🎉 This coastal port city in northern Taiwan is super easy to get to. From Taipei Main Station, just take the MRT Red Line 🚇 to the last stop, Tamsui Station. It takes less than 40 minutes! Super convenient! 💯

🚶♀️ As soon as you exit the station, you'll find a long riverside pedestrian street lined with street food vendors selling snacks and souvenirs 🍡, such as giant popsicles 🧊, fried squid 🦑, and rich Taiwanese milk tea 🧋. Strolling and eating is a real treat.

🌊 A must-see highlight is Tamsui Fisherman's Wharf, renowned for its incredibly romantic sunset views 💕. Stroll along Lover's Bridge and take photos with the evening sky. The resulting photos are so stunning, you won't even need to edit them. 📸

If you have more time, You can rent a bicycle and ride along the river 🚴♀️ or stop by a riverside cafe for a relaxing coffee. It's another atmosphere you shouldn't miss. ☕✨
