Walking into the cafe at Obangen, the atmosphere was tranquil and relaxed, reminiscent of a vacation. The wooden tables and chairs contrasted beautifully with the large glass windows, letting sunlight stream onto the tables, inviting a natural slowdown.

For my main course, I ordered a bowl of piping hot pork rib noodles. The broth was rich, the ribs were stewed to tender and flavorful perfection, and the meat fell away from the bone. Paired with the smooth noodles, it was both warming and satisfying. The refreshing, freshly brewed kiwi juice, with its sweet and sour flavor and natural fruity notes, added a touch of freshness to the meal.

A hot Americano followed, its rich aroma and bitterness perfectly balanced the fullness of lunch. Finally, the truffle pancakes, their crispy crust imbued with the unique, elegant aroma of truffles, became even more complex with each chew.

This meal was more than just a Chinese meal; it felt like a feast resonating with the mountains and forests. The fusion of food and nature added a touch of lightness and luxury to the journey.
