The Kakudahama 角田浜海水浴場

#familytrips2024 The symbol of Kakudahama Beach is the white lighthouse at Cape Kakuda! On a sunny day in summer, Sado Island is right in front of you. The sea also sparkles, and you can experience the Milky Way floating across the rough seas and Sado Island. Matsuo Basho must have seen the Sea of Japan in summer and thought of haiku naturally.
In summer, the waves in the Sea of Japan are calm, and Kakudahama Beach is shallow, making it ideal for families. Swimming in the sea early in the morning is especially great as the water is crystal clear!
Also, the Seaside Line is the road from Kakuda Beach to Teradomari Nozumi Beach. Driving in combination with the Mt. Yahiko Skyline is exhilarating.
