🍣 Fresh Slices of Niigata – Tomizushi Niigataekimaeten Review

Being in Niigata — a region famed for its premium rice — sushi was naturally at the top of our to-eat list. After browsing through Google Maps and spotting glowing reviews, we decided to try Tomizushi Niigataekimaeten, and it turned out to be an excellent decision.

We arrived just after 6pm and were seated quickly. The seafood was incredibly fresh, with thick-cut sashimi that melted in our mouths. The sushi rice was a standout — whether it was the vinegar seasoning or just the top-notch Niigata rice, it paired beautifully with every slice of sashimi.

What really impressed us beyond the food was the attentive service. Staff were warm, welcoming, and very observant — making the dining experience even more enjoyable.

By the time we were midway through dinner, the restaurant was filling up with local Japanese patrons, which gave us extra confidence that we had chosen one of the best spots in town.

Highly recommended for sushi lovers visiting Niigata.
