Hotel Sunshine Kinugawa is located in Kinugawa Onsen, Nikko City, Tochigi Prefecture. The Footbath Cafe Espo is located on the first floor. I was planning to visit the hot spring in the hotel for a day trip, but I was also interested in the footbath, so I stopped by. There was a wide variety of drinks on the menu, and they also had cakes and other sweets, but this time I had the recommended hot dog drink set for lunch.
The fries were very crispy, and the hot dog was juicy and delicious. And it was quite filling. For my drink, I ordered iced milk tea. The restaurant is spacious and there is a footbath on the terrace, so you can enjoy your footbath while having lunch. I visited the restaurant around 13:00 on a weekday, and there were several groups at the terrace. Reservations are not possible, so you can order and then sit wherever you like.
You can see the Kinu Tateiwa Suspension Bridge from the terrace, so you can enjoy a spectacular view during the seasons of fresh greenery and autumn leaves. The view from the terrace was very soothing.
