If you come to Nikko and don't stop by Shinkyo Bridge, you'll miss out. This is a bright red wooden bridge that spans the Daiya River and is one of the most beautiful bridges in Japan. It feels like you're in a period movie.

This bridge is part of the Toshogu Shrine and has a history of over 400 years. If you come during the autumn leaves season (October-November) or in the winter when it's covered in snow, the atmosphere will be even more beautiful. Take a walk and enjoy the view and take beautiful photos. I must say it's worth it.
