[Oku-Nikko] Lake Chuzenji in winter

Lake Chuzenji is the entrance to Oku-Nikko. It is a lake at the foot of Mt. Nantai.

In winter, there are few people and it is quiet.

I was bored so I thought about taking a swan boat, but it was out of service in winter.

The souvenir shops and restaurants around the area were somehow open during the New Year holidays.

I recommend it if you want to enjoy a relaxing time, such as drinking coffee at a cafe in front of the lake.

By the way, when coming from Nikko, you have to go through a winding mountain road, and I thought it would be scary if it was covered in snow.
