Nikko, a World Heritage City in mid-October

In mid-October 2023, the World Heritage City of Nikko is easily accessible from Tokyo. We visited on October 18, 2023. We bought a bus pass at Nikko Station and only toured the natural zone. The main spot we visited was Lake Chuzenji, which was very peaceful with hardly any people around. The autumn leaves had already changed color, displaying beautiful yellows and reds. There are many spots around the lake to sit and enjoy the stunning nature.
