No need to mention self-driving~ For fewer people, it’s recommended to search "Jingpo Lake one-day tour" on Trip.com and choose the package with only round-trip bus included (prices vary on different platforms, remember to compare). I only spent ¥35!

✅Meet at the designated place at 5:00 PM for the return trip

✨Tickets and transportation fees💰

Ticket: 100 yuan, half-lake cruise: 100 yuan, sightseeing bus: 30 yuan, platform combo ticket: 218 yuan is more cost-effective~

If driving, you can freely choose the cruise. For group tours, due to time arrangements, the cruise is a common choice.

✨Itinerary and notes📋

1️⃣After purchasing tickets online, use your ID card for the entrance ticket and sightseeing bus; for the cruise, you need to exchange for a paper ticket at the ticket hall at the dock.

2️⃣The sightseeing bus mainly stops at three stations: North Gate, Waterfall, and Villa Dock. The North Gate is very close to the waterfall, and the waterfall is a bit farther from the dock. If you have good stamina, you can skip buying the sightseeing bus ticket.

3️⃣Diving show times: 10:00, 11:00, 14:00, 15:00. If you arrive at 9:40, don’t take the bus! Head straight to the Diaoshuilou Waterfall to secure a spot. Pass through "Ningguta" first, then watch the show before sightseeing, or it will be very crowded!

4️⃣Besides the half-lake cruise, speedboats and full-lake cruises usually require chartering (e.g., speedboat charter costs 600 yuan). The scenic area does not arrange shared boats.

5️⃣Full-lake vs. half-lake cruise: half-lake takes about 1.5 hours, full-lake 2-2.5 hours. Guides often recommend the full-lake (additional 180 yuan). The half-lake shore has buildings, while the last 3/4 of the full-lake is more natural, with seven of the eight scenic spots located there. Choose half-lake for a simple experience, full-lake to see all eight spots~

6️⃣The cruise sells fried redtail fish for 30 yuan each, the dock sells them for 20 yuan, and there are 10 yuan plates of watermelon to cool off!

7️⃣If you return early, you can visit the ancient Yaoshi Temple (great for photos) or the Maogong Mountain viewing platform to enjoy the breeze and scenery~
