Sapporo, Sapporo Sightseeing
There are many things to see and do in Sapporo, but
I went to the 73rd Sapporo Snow Festival, so I'd like to share it with you.
The Sapporo Snow Festival began in 1950 when local junior and senior high school students created snow sculptures in Odori Park.
You can enjoy the magnificent snow sculptures, created by local residents and members of the Self-Defense Forces.
The Sapporo Snow Festival will be held in 2023.
✅Dates: February 4-11, 2023
✅Odori Park Venue
✅Susukino Venue
Only two venues will be open.
This time,
✅Odori Venue: Nishi 10-Chome - Nishi 8-Chome
✅1-minute walk from Nishi 11-Chome Station on the Tozai Subway Line
I'd like to share it.
✅Nishi 10-Chome Venue
Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters' new baseball stadium
HOKKAIDO BALLPARK F VILLAGE
Recreated Hokkaido Ballpark F Village
✅West 9-chome Venue
Snow sculptures handcrafted by local residents
✅West 8-chome Venue
This is a snow sculpture of Toyohirakan, a hotel directly operated by the Hokkaido Development Commission, built in 1880.
It's made using a technique called ice block construction, in which small pieces made from snow are glued together.
You'll be amazed at the level of precision!
