Choosing a hotel is always a difficult factor.
Accessibility, facilities, price, food, etc.
But it is really hard to have everything.
That is why I chose this hotel even if I had to sacrifice accessibility a little!
Because everything else was good!

Accessibility: 20 minutes on foot to downtown Sapporo, 15 minutes on foot to Odori Park, 5 minutes on foot to Hoshi Susukino Station

1) 25-year-old remodeled hotel

Dansetsu is a hotel that was remodeled in 25 years. Therefore, the cleanliness of the facilities is very good. You can also find very emotional sights such as the gate with a wooden motif and the garden with soft lighting.

2) Ambiguous accessibility

Accessibility is, frankly, ambiguous. It is a 15-minute walk to downtown Sapporo, but keep in mind that Sapporo is a place where it is difficult to walk in midsummer or midwinter. Hosui-Susukino Station is a 5-minute walk away, but it is not cost-effective because it costs about 200 yen one way to move one or two stations. I recommend avoiding it if you prioritize accessibility.

3) Large public bath

There is a large large public bath on the first floor. You can enjoy high-quality facilities such as hot and cold baths with soft lighting, various saunas and steam rooms, and Dyson dryers. However, the amenities are a bit lacking.

4) Late-night ramen

Mini miso ramen is provided to all guests from 9:00 PM to 11:00 PM. It is a good place to enjoy a light late-night snack after the sauna. The taste is not too strong, so you can enjoy it regardless of nationality.

5) Breakfast Buffet

Breakfast is of decent quality. There are few Japanese dishes, so it is considered a breakfast buffet for foreigners. However, since there is no change in the menu, it is not suitable for consecutive nights. Unless you have a tight schedule, we recommend eating something light in Sapporo or other places.

There are some regrets, but with the latest remodeling, it is considered one of the best hotels in Sapporo. Sleep well and have a pleasant trip!
