[Okayama] Kibitsu Shrine's Main Shrine and Takimatsuri Shrine

The Honmiya Shrine, located at the southernmost end of Kibitsu Shrine, enshrines the parents of Kibitsuhiko-no-Mikoto. He is worshipped as the god of safe childbirth and childcare. Takimatsuri Shrine was across the road, above the river. Even if you visit alone, you can visit the entire Kibitsu Shrine at your own pace without rushing. This shrine is recommended for sightseeing in Okayama, where the legend of Momotaro is passed down.
