Okayama Cherry Blossom Festival

Okayama Castle, the famous black castle, is the only season where you can see the beautiful black castle tower and cherry blossoms at the same time. The Okayama Sakura Carnival is the most lively cherry blossom festival in Okayama City. The event will be held on the Asahikawa Riverbed that flows through Okayama's famous attractions, Okayama Castle and Okayama Korakuen. You can enjoy the Yoshino cherry trees that stretch for more than 1 kilometer. During the event, there will be many stalls and you can taste festival food. After sunset, the lights will be turned on and you can enjoy a different atmosphere from the daytime.
