Okayama: The Land of Castles, Gardens, and Folklore

I've traveled extensively across Japan.
Matsuyama, Nagoya, Tokyo, Yokohama, Osaka
Matsuyama, Takamatsu, Fukuoka, Kitakyushu
and many other places. Among these, I visited Okayama for the first time.
Whenever I travel, I make it a point to visit castles. Along with shrines, they are magnificent landmarks that are a must-see in Japan.
Okayama Castle is not as tall or massive as Matsuyama Castle. However, this place, known as the "Crow Castle," is already beloved by many Japanese people.
Its impeccable maintenance makes it an accessible and welcoming destination. Located in a tranquil area, it is perfect for a stroll, especially with the nearby Korakuen Garden, one of Japan's top three gardens.
One of Okayama's advantages is that currently, Korean Air is the only airline operating flights there, which means there are very few Korean tourists—a definite plus.
Nicknamed "the ultimate launch pad," Okayama serves as a convenient hub for traveling to other regions.
If you want to experience the true charm of a small city, I highly recommend Okayama. There are so many restaurants I want to introduce and countless advantages of Okayama I want to list, but I'll save that for later. Haha. Okayama!
A travel destination that turned out to be much better than expected—highly recommended!
