[Hiroshima] A temple built by a businessman

"Kosanji Temple" on Ikuchijima Island in Onomichi City

This temple is a Jodo Shinshu Honganji temple built by former Osaka businessman Kosanji Kozo with the intention of expressing gratitude to his mother, and is also known as "Mother's Temple" 🥸

The 15 buildings here are registered as national tangible cultural properties ✨

The gate is like that of Toshogu Shrine, and there is a unique and mysterious space where the cultures of various eras and countries seem to mix together 💡

The grounds also include a marble garden, which is very popular as a photo spot 😍
I'd like to see it!
