Built by businessman Kozo Kosanji as his family temple for his mother.

Modeled after various National Treasures, this temple exudes a unique atmosphere.

From the entrance gate...
The Koyomon Gate was modeled after the Yomeimon Gate of Nikko Toshogu Shrine,
and is truly magnificent!

For this reason, it's sometimes called the Nikko of the West.

There are plenty of autumn foliage trees planted here,
so I imagine the scenery will be even more spectacular in the coming autumn foliage season.
