My Short Trip to Osaka

#OverseasTravel

Osaka is a vibrant and charming city where history, modernity, and unique street culture blend together, offering surprises at every corner. During this trip, I especially visited Osaka Castle, Shinsekai, and the Umeda shopping district, and also sought out the famous Glico Running Man sign in Dotonbori. Each place left me with deep memories.

First, I was amazed by the grandeur of Osaka Castle. Standing in front of the castle, I could feel the dignity and majesty of this historic structure. Climbing up to the Tenshukaku (main tower), I had a panoramic view of Osaka city, and especially in autumn and winter, the surrounding maple and ginkgo trees added a romantic and nostalgic atmosphere to Osaka Castle.

Next, I arrived at Shinsekai, a place full of Showa era nostalgia. Tsutenkaku Tower stood tall in the middle of the street, surrounded by dazzling neon signs and local specialty foods. The kushikatsu (deep-fried skewers) here is a must-try dish, and paired with a cold draft beer, it was an unforgettable taste.

Umeda is a paradise for shopping lovers. You can find the latest products and a wide variety of choices here, from luxury department stores to trendy clothing and electronics. Especially from the Floating Garden Observatory at the Umeda Sky Building, I enjoyed the most magnificent night view of Osaka, which was breathtaking.

Finally, of course, I couldn’t miss the iconic Glico Running Man landmark in Dotonbori! Taking photos in front of the neon signs and feeling the passion and energy of this city, I couldn’t help but be immersed in this joyful atmosphere.

Osaka is an unforgettable city. It is full of charm in every aspect, from food and shopping to culture. I look forward to visiting again to discover even more hidden wonders!
