During my trip to Osaka, I visited Sumiyoshi Taisha⛩️ to collect their embroidered Goshuin!!!
Sumiyoshi Taisha is the head shrine of the 2,300 Sumiyoshi shrines across Japan and is renowned as a power spot!

⛩️ Blessings
~~~~~~~~
This shrine offers blessings for business prosperity, family safety, love, and more. It is said to be the number one power spot in Osaka, attracting an incredible 2.3 million visitors during the New Year celebrations😂.
~~~~~~~~
🖋️ Goshuin
~~~~~~~~
Every month, limited-edition embroidered Goshuin are distributed, making it enviable for locals who can visit and collect them monthly...!!!
The Goshuin designs are absolutely adorable🤤.
I received the special collaboration Goshuin between Sumiyoshi Taisha and JR Tokai:
EX Limited Design 'Sumiyoshi Divine Rabbit & Doctor Yellow (T4 Formation) Embroidered Goshuin.'
Note that this Goshuin requires prior reservation on JR Tokai's website, so be careful⚠️.
🐇 Omikuji
~~~~~~~~~~
I drew a rabbit-shaped omikuji because it was so cute!
At Sumiyoshi Taisha, rabbits are considered divine messengers. This belief is tied to the shrine's founding day approximately 1,800 years ago, which coincided with the year, month, and day of the rabbit (辛卯の年, 卯月, 卯日). Hence, rabbits🐇 became divine messengers.
There are many rabbit-themed items within the shrine grounds, such as the "Nade Usagi" (rabbits you can stroke for blessings). Be sure to explore and find them!
