Built by Toyotomi Hideyoshi after the Ishiyama Battle against Oda Nobunaga

The castle was completely destroyed in the Summer Siege of Osaka,
Rebuilt by the Tokugawa shogunate, and later destroyed again.
While deeply connected to Japan's history, it has been restored
and remains to this day.

The golden Japanese boat "Osaka Castle Gozabune" cruises the moat
A course around the inner moat takes about 20 minutes
