Day 1: Strolling around Dotonbori, lights, colors, and the taste of happiness 🌈🐙

After landing at Kansai Airport, we took the train straight into the city. Very excited because this is the first time visiting Osaka. When we arrived at Dotonbori area, I must say the lights were stunning. The giant Glico neon sign greeted us with a smile right from the start.

Walking by, we found a takoyaki shop with fragrant smoke wafting out, so we tried some. The round, hot balls were crispy on the outside, soft inside, with the fresh squid aroma—so delicious we had to buy several more!

There was also okonomiyaki, the Japanese pancake, loaded with ingredients and served on a full plate. The taste was rich and satisfying, making us forget all our tiredness. We leisurely walked along the shopping street, taking photos with cute shops and souvenirs—so much fun!

Day 2: Osaka Castle and blooming cherry blossoms 🏯🌸

On the second morning, we went to Osaka Castle, a major city landmark. It’s very easy to get there by subway. The castle is very beautiful, with clean white walls and a bright green roof, contrasting with the clear blue sky and sweet pink cherry blossoms, creating a very romantic atmosphere.

We went up to the top to enjoy the view, seeing the vast Osaka cityscape stretching as far as the eye can see, with a refreshing cool breeze. There’s also a small museum providing knowledge about Japanese samurai. We learned about local culture in a fun way.

Day 3: Universal Studios Japan (USJ) amusement park, super fun 🎢🧙‍♀️

Day three was highly anticipated because we were going to Universal Studios Japan! We arrived early to enjoy the rides fully. Our favorite zone was “The Wizarding World of Harry Potter,” feeling like stepping into the movie. We walked around Hogsmeade village and saw the magnificent Hogwarts castle!

Besides that, there was the thrilling Jurassic Park zone and the cute, lively Minions. We enjoyed the rides so much we forgot all our tiredness.

Day 4: Shopping and delicious eating at Shinsaibashi and Kuromon Market 🛍️🍣

On day four, we went shopping at Shinsaibashi, a long street full of fashion stores, cafes, and cute dessert shops. We strolled comfortably and got lots of things we liked.

Then we went to Kuromon Ichiba Market, a fresh market famous for fresh seafood. We ate fresh, sweet fish sushi and other seafood, very fresh. There were also various street foods, delicious and fully satisfying!

Day 5: A chill day at Nakanoshima Park and riverside cafe 🌿☕️

Today we chose to relax at Nakanoshima Park, a peaceful city park with shade, big trees, and a beautiful river view. We sat sipping hot lattes with soft cakes at a small nearby cafe. The vibe was great, perfect for recharging after heavy sightseeing.
