Start your journey by arriving at Kansai Airport, then take the train into the city quickly and comfortably. We bought an ICOCA card, a rechargeable card for trains, buses, and convenience stores in Osaka, which made life so much easier. No more hassle buying tickets repeatedly, and it also saves a lot of time.

A cozy stay in the lively Namba district

We chose to stay at a small but wonderful hotel in the Namba area, which perfectly combines liveliness and charm. The room was compact but very well organized, with a soft, comfortable bed. After a whole day of walking around, it felt just like being at home.

At night, opening the window to see the sparkling city lights of Osaka was so romantic and full of life, making us fall in love with this city at first sight.

When you think of Osaka, you have to think of takoyaki! Dotonbori is a paradise for takoyaki lovers, packed with many authentic takoyaki shops.

The takoyaki here is crispy on the outside, soft inside, with big, fresh octopus pieces that bounce delightfully. Topped with a special sweet and savory sauce and creamy mayonnaise, it’s truly addictive. We ate so many that we almost rolled back to the hotel!

When we wanted a break from the hustle and bustle, we visited Sumiyoshi Taisha Shrine, which boasts beautiful architecture and a tranquil atmosphere.

We wrote our wishes on wooden ema plaques, praying for health and good luck. Experiencing the calm and natural beauty here was incredibly relaxing.

Universal Studios Japan is a place we didn’t want to miss! There’s the Harry Potter zone that feels like stepping into a magical world, and the bright, fun-filled Super Nintendo World with exciting rides.

We had a blast on the rides, laughed with friends, and took photos with adorable characters. It was a joyful day full of laughter.
