Naniwa Koroi Shrine, Monkfish God History [Hirota Shrine]

Hirota Shrine is an ancient shrine that stands quietly in the city center of the accommodation area near Namba, about a three-minute walk from Ebisu Shrine. [Hirota Shrine] What is very special is that stingrays are worshipped as messengers of the gods. In the Edo period, this place was called Hirota Forest, and the Hirota Shrine that has been handed down was considered to be a place where people could pray for peace in the country, good harvests, prosperity of descendants, good luck, and victory.
