Sunrise in Phatthalung, lotus blossoms at Thale Noi. Oh, it's so beautiful.

This time traveling in Phatthalung, I intended to take a boat trip to see the small sea. At the point where we would go to see the red lotus, it is called Khlong Pak Pra, which is the main waterway of Phatthalung that flows into Songkhla Lake. There are beautiful accommodations here all around. The accommodations are located by the water and you can see the giant water lily, which is very beautiful.

The end of Khlong Pak Pra is a wide expanse as far as the eye can see. There are giant water lily rows all over. It is an area rich in fish, water birds, aquatic animals and plants in a complete ecosystem.
To take a boat to see Pak Pra, you have to go early in the morning to catch the first light of the day. The water surface will be very still and beautiful. While on the boat, you will be able to take pictures of the giant water lily with the sunrise as a backdrop. When the sky starts to brighten, you will reach the red lotus viewing point. The boat will take you along the branching path. You will see red lotus, aquatic plants and water birds. Until the end, near the bridge, you will see water buffaloes in the distance because the buffaloes are stomping in the area of aquatic grass that the boat cannot reach.

For renting a boat, you can contact the accommodation directly. The boat charter from Pak Pra to see the red lotus (pink), water birds, and water buffalo costs ~1,000 baht and takes about 2 hours. During the boat trip, if you need to use the restroom, there is a stop (a sturdy concrete pavilion) with a restroom that you can go up and use.
