Waldorf Astoria Osaka

Andre Fu | The Waldorf Astoria Hotel in Japan coincides with the Osaka Kansai Expo and cherry blossom season, grandly opening on April 3rd. The hotel took five years to build and is the first Waldorf Astoria branch in Japan.
The hotel was designed by renowned designer Andre Fu, who reinterpreted the exquisite geometric forms of Art Deco through a unique Japanese perspective.

The creative inspiration comes from the Yodoko Guest House in Osaka, designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in 1918, an Art Deco style project that combines layered symmetry, rhythmic patterns, and exquisite craftsmanship.
As an iconic venue of the Waldorf brand, Peacock Alley has always been a gathering place for social elites, frequented by legendary stars such as Frank Sinatra, Marilyn Monroe, and Elizabeth Taylor.
The Peacock Alley lounge at Waldorf Astoria Osaka continues this tradition, inheriting the grandeur of the New York hotel while incorporating a unique Japanese style.
