If you're going to Osaka Expo, you want to have a smooth experience, right? Here are some tips you should know even on the day✨
📍Osaka Yumeshima
🚊 Chuo Line, 5-minute walk from Yumeshima Station
[Tip 1: Arrive at the venue 30 minutes early]
The Osaka Expo gets very crowded, so your satisfaction depends on how many popular pavilions you can visit while it's still less crowded in the morning. The American Pavilion and French Pavilion, known for their crowds, are best visited first thing in the morning. The venue opens at 9 AM, but many people are already lined up at the gate before 9, so you should arrive early.
[Tip 2: Download the app]
You can make pavilion reservations even on the day, so be sure to install the app before you arrive. While paper maps are often said to be easier to read, I found the map on the "Expo2025 Personal Agent" app very clear and sufficient. If you want to travel light, definitely try it.

[Tip 3: It's better to go home early]
Since it's a special occasion, watching the night fountain show, fireworks, or drone show is also an option✨ However, be prepared for heavy crowds on the way back. If your main goal is the pavilions, I recommend skipping these shows and heading home. I stayed until the middle of Golden Week and it took me about an hour and a half from heading to the gate to getting on the train.
Make sure to prepare for the heat and enjoy Osaka Expo!
