A hidden izakaya in the Shinsaibashi area

🏮Izakaya Nonkiya is an izakaya we stumbled upon by chance at night. The restaurant is tucked away in a building corner.
🏮The seating is limited, with bar seats, about two tables for 4 people, and a large table that can seat around 8 people in a semi-private room.
🏮The menu offers a wide variety, including sashimi, shrimp, beef, chicken, and fried items. However, the menu is entirely in Japanese, so you might need a translation app.
🏮The food is delicious and reasonably priced. The sashimi and raw beef are sweet and tasty, with no fishy smell at all.
🏮The drinks selection is also good, with many choices, affordable prices, and great taste. We ordered beer and plum wine.
🏮The atmosphere is very Japanese since there are almost no tourists. There was one table of Japanese customers, giving the feeling of dining at a genuine local spot.
🏮The owner is very kind, friendly, and provides great service, trying to communicate with us in English.

📍Opening hours: 6 PM to 5 AM
💗If you come to Osaka and are looking for a place to eat late at night, we highly recommend this place.

🚶Location: About a 300-meter walk from Shinsaibashi, located in the alley next to the GALAXIE 2 building.
