“This Osaka trip, I recommend 3 must-visit spots!”
1. Namba Yasaka Shrine A small shrine but with a unique giant lion head statue. Definitely great for photos, giving a truly Japanese vibe but unlike any other. Japanese people believe that visiting here brings luck and helps with studies. It’s best to come in the morning when it’s less crowded and perfect for taking pictures.
2. Hep Five Ferris Wheel Located on the rooftop of the HEP FIVE mall in the Umeda area. You can see its bright red color from afar. A 15-minute ride offers a panoramic view of Osaka city, especially beautiful at sunset or at night with the city lights. Tickets cost about 600 yen each. Inside the mall, there are fashion stores and cafes.
3. Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan
One of the largest aquariums in the world. The highlight is the giant whale shark tank that you can watch for hours. It features various marine animals from the Pacific and Arctic. Perfect for families and photography enthusiasts. It takes about 2 hours to explore. It’s recommended to buy tickets in advance to reduce waiting time.
Tips:
🩵Buy the Osaka Amazing Pass if you plan to visit many places, it’s the best value
🩵Take photos of the Ferris wheel at night with the beautiful city lights
🩵The aquarium is near Tempozan Market Place, which has seafood restaurants and cafes to visit before heading back
