The Osaka Expo is now less than a month away...!
With over 200,000 visitors daily, some of you might be considering a last-minute visit to the Expo, right?
So, here’s how I, someone who failed to win any lottery tickets, spent my day at the Expo during the busy September 3-day weekend with over 200,000 attendees✨
⏰ Schedule
6:06 Arrived at Yumeshima Station
9:05 Entered through the East Gate
9:10~ France Pavilion [5-minute wait 🪑]
9:40~ Poland Pavilion [Same-day reservation 📱]
10:30~ Oman Pavilion [5-minute wait 🪑]
11:00~ Enjoyed Belgian chocolate ice cream
13:00~ TECH WORLD (Taiwan Pavilion) [2-hour wait 🪑]
14:15~ Australia Pavilion [Same-day reservation 📱]
17:00~ Turkmenistan Pavilion [1-hour wait 🪑]
18:00~ Nordic Pavilion & Dinner
20:00~ Future City Pavilion [Same-day reservation 📱]
20:40~ Exited through the West Gate
21:00~ Watched the drone show while waiting for a taxi
21:10 Got a GO Taxi ▶ Headed home
📝 Tips
◉ If you don’t have advance reservations, entering at 9 AM is a must.
◉ Narrow down your must-visit spots to about two and focus on those.
◉ Booking a taxi from the West Gate makes leaving much easier.
💦 Lessons Learned
◉ Take the 3-day lottery seriously (the Netherlands Pavilion is worth aiming for).
◉ Research Expo food options beforehand.
◉ Bring a foldable chair for convenience.
