Located on Sanadayama, a hill southeast of Osaka Castle (Kamimachidai), it was formerly called Himeyama Shrine (a remnant of the ancient Hime no Matsubara pine forest), but the name Sanko of Sanadayama is better known nationwide, and it is now called Sanko Shrine.
There was a restricted underground passage and a statue of the samurai Sanada Yukimura. 👀‼︎
It was a quiet shrine on top of a hill. 🌿
