[Osaka Prefecture] Hozenji Yokocho, a place filled with Naniwa atmosphere

I mentioned before that we stayed in a hotel near Namba during this trip to Osaka, so while looking for dinner, we went to look for the #Hozenji Mizukake Fudoson. Walking into Hozenji Yokocho from the bustling tourist area is like walking into two parallel time and space. Fashan Temple is probably in the middle of Hengjie Street, and it seems to have a more atmospheric feel when you go there at night. It is very simple and hidden, and the most special thing is the statue of Acala covered with moss!
There is also a very historic dessert shop next to it ✨
#夫妻善哉 is a century-old shop specializing in red bean soup balls.
Locals believe that as long as lovers or couples eat a bowl of red bean soup with only one red bean ball each, their relationship and marriage will be blessed! You can try it when you go.
There is also an art museum nearby that permanently exhibits Kamigata Ukiyo-e (Kagata woodblock prints), which mainly collects and displays paintings by famous artists from the cultural and Bunsei periods in the second half of the Edo period.
