Oshino Hakkai, the clear water village of Mt. Fuji

Oshino Hakkai Village is located in Yamanashi Prefecture, not far from Lake Kawaguchiko, a popular tourist destination in Japan that is popular with tourists from all over the world.

Inside Oshino Hakkai Village, there are 8 clear ponds formed from the snow on Mt. Fuji that melts in summer. Thai people like to call this place the Clear Water Village.

This village was selected as a National Natural Monument in 1934 and was also registered as a World Cultural Heritage Site, together with the area around Mt. Fuji, in 2013 under the name Fujisan, Sacred Place and Source of Artistic Inspiration.

This is considered a popular spot to view Mt. Fuji, with a beautiful view of the ancient village, a pond so clear that you can see fish swimming, and Mt. Fuji. Standing tall as a beautiful backdrop.

For those who plan to visit Mt. Fuji, I recommend that you stop by here.
