They say Mount Fuji is shy, so we decided to see for ourselves.
🚗 We set off early in the morning from Tokyo, but the roads were congested the entire way. It seemed like there was some kind of event happening, and even the expressway was packed.
🕶️ The journey took much longer than usual, and by the time we arrived at the village, it was almost 3 PM. We immediately queued up at a restaurant because we were starving.
🍚🍛🍲 The large restaurant at the village entrance offered a variety of dishes. We ordered grilled fish and eel, and they were delicious.
🍦🍘🍢 Outside, there were stalls selling snacks and ice cream. It was a bit crowded, but manageable. The photos turned out great, though Mount Fuji didn’t make an appearance today. No worries, we’ll catch it another time.
🌿 If you’re visiting this area, I highly recommend this village. When Mount Fuji is visible, the view is absolutely stunning. The village has a wonderful atmosphere, with plenty of space to walk around, several clear water ponds, and lots of snacks to try. Just be prepared for a bit of a crowd.
