Address: Oshigusa, Oshinomura, Minamitsuru-gun, Yamanashi Prefecture
Access: [Fujikyuko Kawaguchiko Line Fujikyu Yamanashi Bus to Gotemba Station via Oshino Hakkai] Fujisan Station → Oshino Hakkai, 15 minutes by bus + 5 minutes on foot

If you have a driver's license, it is recommended to go by car! 🚘

It takes a long time by public transportation, but it is worth it!! 🙆‍♀️

This famous water village allows you to see and taste the spring water ponds where the melting snow from Mt. Fuji has bubbled up to the ground over many years!

As the name "Hakkai" suggests, there are eight ponds~

In the Edo period, it was known as a pilgrimage for purification before climbing Mt. Fuji, and there seems to be a certain order for visiting the eight ponds!! (I didn't know this 😂)

I bet the carp swimming in this famous water feel great...

I went in the fall, so the autumn leaves were beautiful, and best of all, the grounds are spacious so you can take a leisurely stroll 🚶‍♀️🍁
