Another awesome day in Japan! I jumped from Tokyo to the legendary Mt. Fuji with a day tour I booked on trip.com. 😎
Okay, here’s the tea — my tour guide spoke mostly Chinese and just a sprinkle of English, so I had to flex my basic Japanese skills all day. Honestly, it turned into a surprise language challenge (so wild!), but it was kinda fun testing out my Japanese IRL 🍵🙋♂️.
The squad cruised through all the iconic spots:
• Mount Fuji (Mount Fuji, Kitayama, Fujinomiya, Shizuoka 418-0112, Japan, open all day) — The views? So surreal, even though the weather only let me see Fuji’s silhouette... still dreamy AF! 🌄✨
• Hakone Shrine (80-1 Motohakone, Hakone, Ashigarashimo District, Kanagawa 250-0522, open all day) — Pure peace and super Insta-worthy torii by the water 🛐📸
• Pirate Boat Ride on Lake Ashi (Lake Ashi, Motohakone, Hakone, Kanagawa 250-0522, Japan, open all day) — Sailing like a boss on a legendary “pirate” cruise 🚢⚓
• Devoured the famous black eggs at Owakudani (Sengokuhara, Hakone, Kanagawa 250-0631, open 09:00-16:20) — Eating these is said to add years to your life... count me in! 🥚🖤
• Chilled at Oshino Hakkai (Shibokusa, Oshino, Minamitsuru District, Yamanashi 401-0511, open all day) — Drank straight-up Mount Fuji water from a pure spring, sooo refreshing 🏞️💧
• Ended the day at Lake Yamanakako on the Swan Lake Pleasure Boat — gliding across the lake like a literal fairytale character 🦢✨
Pro tip: If you wanna squeeze all these legendary spots into one day, def book a trip.com tour for max convenience. Just be ready for some language surprises if you’re not up on your Japanese or Chinese!
Despite not seeing the full view of Mt. Fuji (thanks, weather 😅), every stop was a whole vibe. Can’t wait for the next adventure — Japan is FULL of epic moments!
