Otaru Spring Snow~ Delicious Beef Cutlet at Otaru Kurosawa

Beef Cutlet Otaru Kurosawa is a chain restaurant in Hokkaido, famous for its Japanese domestic Wagyu beef cutlets.

For dinner, I visited the branch near the Otaru Canal, close to the Taisho Glass Museum main store and the Sakai Bridge branch. The restaurant has limited seating (about 10 seats), so you might have to wait a bit during meal times, but the wait is not too long.

The restaurant uses a coin-operated ordering system. The beef cutlets come in four grades of meat, with the highest grade being Hokkaido's Shiraoi Wagyu. Reviews say that even the regular beef is delicious, so I ordered the regular Beef B set (¥3000) and added a Shiraoi beef croquette (¥600).

The beef cutlet is served sliced and half-cooked, with a small grill on the table for you to heat it to your preferred doneness. You can enhance the flavor with wasabi and steak sauce, or grated daikon radish with yuzu vinegar.

Both the beef cutlet and the Shiraoi beef croquette are juicy and flavorful. Paired with the classic Sapporo beer from Hokkaido, it's a perfect match!
