Shibazakura Viewing

Came Hokkaido in May hopefully to catch Cherry Blossom and of cause shibazakura (pink moss).

Reached Chitose and drive straight to Abashiri to rest for the night. Next day went Higashimokoto Shibazakura Park to view the beautiful shibazakura. The whole hill was pinkish purple. Although it was sunny the cool weather makes it a nice walk.

Dinner went to 中鮨 for a sushi meal. Tried whale sashimi for the first time and it was delicious.
