Just like a pink carpet covering the entire hilltop, the tiny #芝樱 perfectly interprets the beauty of numbers, so dreamy!
In the spring of May, I drove to #東莫琴芝樱公園 in Hokkaido. It is located at the foot of Mt. Mokoto in Higashimokoto, Ozora Town, Okhotsk. There is a dreamlike sea of moss pinks, red, pink, and white. They grow close to the ground, small and sweet, covering the entire crisp green mountain like a carpet. It is breathtaking when you first see it. It is more beautiful than cherry blossoms!
The Shibazakura Park covers a vast area, with an area of up to 10 hectares planted with shibazakura. There is a wooden plank trail in the park, which takes about 30-60 minutes to circle the entire mountain. There are also torii gates, shrines, and a mountaintop observation deck along the way. Looking out at the Higashimokoto Park filled with shibazakura is quite shocking!
There is a fee to enter the park, 500 yen for adults and 250 yen for children, which is very cost-effective. If you don’t want to leave, you can take a ride on the park bus or go kart. Don’t forget to have a delicious shibazakura soft serve ice cream. It will look dreamy no matter how you pose!
