Lake Palić charmed me with its romantic promenades, historic villas, and peaceful waters. Located near Subotica, it has been a spa and leisure destination for over a century. I enjoyed strolling along the lakefront, where art nouveau architecture gives the place an elegant character. Renting a boat and drifting on the lake was relaxing, while the surrounding park made for perfect picnic spots. The atmosphere felt timeless, like stepping back to the golden age of spa tourism. Palić is not just about the lake, but the entire cultural landscape that surrounds it.
