Apart from the Chocolate Hills, Alona Beach, named for a renowned Filipina actress in the 1970s, is a 1.5-kilometer strip of white sand that is one of the most well-known tourist destinations in Bohol. With resorts bordering the coast, it's an ideal family trip.
