14 days solo Surabaya - Lombok & climb Mount Rinjani! Last minute plan, luckily it happened.

Sunrise near Bromo 💯 even though it was cold and crowded.

Got to try the Kirana VII ship tour ferry from Surabaya to Lombok. It took 22 hours but it didn't feel like it because the view was beautiful, there were beds (dorm style), the facilities were all beautiful, and there were guest artists for dangdut 🤣. Then the edge of the Bali archipelago so you can see Mount Agung.

Lombok is really beautiful. Lots of rice fields, you can stay at a homestay by the rice fields, when you walk in the morning, all the villagers invite you for coffee. The waterfalls & beaches are also beautiful. I met a few foreign tourists who came from behind, they said Lombok beach > Bali beach.

The best experience was climbing Mount Rinjani. 😆 Climbing with a group from Malaysia. I'm not a hiker, climbing mountains in Malaysia is rare but thank God I safely reached the top even though it was a little struggle. 🤣🤣 Luckily the weather was good, there was no rain so the view was really clear. The Torean road is so smooth.

If you go to Lombok, if you don't go up the mountain, you have to go to the Sembalun area near the foot of the mountain because the view there is very beautiful. Lombok is not so big that you can go around one island in a moment.
