A temple that built without any metal or piles 🛕

We booked a private driver and headed out early in the morning to visit the Sanctuary of Truth — and that decision paid off. With the sun still gentle and the crowds minimal, we had the chance to really soak in the incredible wooden architecture in peace.
This place is jaw-dropping. Entirely carved from wood, with no metal nails used, the structure rises like a mythical temple from the sea — blending Thai, Hindu, Buddhist, and Khmer artistry into one breathtaking monument. It’s still a work-in-progress, which makes it feel even more alive.
We joined the guided tour included in the ticket, which really helped us understand the deeper philosophical meanings carved into the wood. Such a peaceful and awe-inspiring start to the day — totally worth the early wake-up call.
