Upon entering the Penghu Aquarium, you're greeted by a high-ceiling lobby decorated with vibrant paintings and nearly a dozen dolphins suspended high in the sky, instantly creating a dreamlike feeling of being transported to an underwater world. 🐬 While the aquarium isn't large, its two floors offer a wealth of exhibits, including nine main areas: "Ocean Exploration," "Dive into Dreams," "Ocean Pool and Sea Tunnel," "Ocean Pool," and "Jellyfish Zone," making it perfect for a family outing. 👍
#UnderseaTunnel
The 14-meter-long underwater tunnel offers panoramic views of the ocean world and a variety of fish swimming freely, even coming to greet you. 🐳
#FeedingShow Before the time even started, the large curved glass window was already packed with people. The Penghu Aquarium's feeding show is different from other aquariums. Here, divers hand out handfuls of food to the creatures one by one, rather than dumping large amounts into the water. This allows for more interactive interaction between the divers and the fish. Combined with the guide's explanations, the whole experience is not only lively and fun, but also offers a wealth of marine life trivia. ✨
By the way, don't rush out after the feeding show; you can still interact with the divers and take photos. 📷
After enjoying the magical aquarium, head to the second-floor outdoor "Sea Viewing Pavilion" observation deck for a panoramic view of the vast ocean. On clear days, you might even get a glimpse of Jibei Island. 🏝️
