If you crave Japanese food during your Malaysia trip, you can have a try on Fujisawa Izakaya. This restaurant is located at Damansara Utama, Petaling Jaya. The restaurant is on the first floor, right above the Aftermeal Desserts shop.

You will be amazed by the interior with vintage posters all around the wall and with a TV playing Japanese ads from the late 90s to late 00s.

They have a variety of Japanese food on their menu from Bento, ramen, sushi to yakitori. I have tried their yakitori including chicken and unagi, all is fresh, tender and juicy. They serve the skewers on a charcoal stove which is the traditional Japanese grill type.

Even though the price of the food is slightly high, but the food quality and taste are good. It is highly recommended to make a reservation before your visit, as the shop often full house and needs to have long waiting time.
