Po Shanu Cham Towers - Mui Ne, Vietnam

Po Shanu Cham Towers were part of a large complex of temples built by the Cham kingdom in the 8th century AD. and dedicated to Lord Shiva. In the 17th century, the complex was destroyed, and only three towers survived. From 1990 to 2000, the towers were renovated and are now available to the public.

Inside the main tower, an altar for worshiping the god Shiva has been preserved. Two of his symbols, lingas, have been preserved next to him. Until now, local fishermen worship the god Shiva, coming to the altar and asking for a successful catch and a successful return from fishing.

How to get there: The towers are located within walking distance from Mui Ne beach. They are located between the town of Phan Thiet and Mui Ne at a distance of five km from Phan Thiet.
